Typical applications include moisture and rust protection, warehouse storage, food and timber drying, car garages, hotels, offices, workshops, large homes and food storages. Stainless steel PRO versions are ideal for water damage restoration, cold room and freezer ice production and boat protection. The 3-hole system uses only one internal fan to create two air flows internally in the desiccant dehumidifier. 15% of the "process air" (or damp air in) that you need to dry is turned back on itself after passing through the desiccant wheel. This air is used to dry the wheel again to be vented out as saturated "exhausted wet air". This is the air that is vented away like a tumble dryer hose (only 3.15 inches in diameter). Three hole comes from having Process Air-In , Process Air-Out & Exhaust ducts.
