These premium door closers are used for interior and exterior doors in commercial buildings, residential complexes, healthcare facilities, schools, and more. Door closers meet ADA requirements for opening force. Cast Aluminum body and heavy duty steel arm provide lasting durability for frequent use. Hold open arms are adjustable friction type holders that can hold doors open at varying degrees. Door features include adjustable closing strength that controls the closing force and speed. Closing speed with an adjustable spring produces a range of opening and closing force. Backcheck cushions prevent uncontrolled opening of the door by providing an adjustable hydraulic cushioning ideal for heavy traffic or quiet operation. Grade: 1 (PT1, PT4D, and PT4H). Mounting dimensions are 12" x 3/4". Door closers have a UL 10C fire rating and are ANSI/BHMA A156.4 certified.
